The North Kannapolis Baptist Food Pantry Ministry was Established in 2012 as a satellite of Cooperative Christian Ministry, in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank. The Food Pantry operates on a drive-through basis, and is open on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30 a.m. The Food Pantry ministers to approximately 20-25 families per week and distributes approximately 1000+ pounds of food weekly. All Pantry workers are volunteers, most of whom are members of North Kannapolis Baptist

The Food Pantry serves residents of Kannapolis, Concord, Landis, and China Grove, and clients may come one time per month. Some form of ID is required, such as a driver's license, State ID, or utility bill showing current address, and a database is used to keep a record of those receiving services, number of family members, visits to the Pantry, quantity of food received, etc.
